I let one of my friends borrow my cb7 for a little while untill she can afford to get her own car. She called me last night about 11 or so and was like "did you go to your car at all last night??" "NO." "ARE you SURE????" "Yes." "umm your radio won't turn on anymore. Did your battery die?" "start the car, that will tell ya"... "oh it starts, but your radio wont turn on." "turn on the interior light, is it their?" "ummm... there's a big black hole above your gauge thingy" "hmm that means it's not turning on cause it's stolen. Has anything been broken?" "not that i can see" "oh well, it's just a radio and no one is hurt. File a police report when you get home."
so that's how our conversation went. I couldn't help but laugh at her umm......

what's strange about that is she brings the car to a better part of town than what i live in currently AND i used to work on cherry and magnolia. Anyone that is from knoxville knows that cherry and magnolia is a bad part of town if your not from their. and though i wasn't from their everyone liked me and everyone knew me. I used to always have my windows down, doors unlocked, sometimes id forget my keys are in the ignition. And never would anyone even look funny at my car. i wonder if that's considered ironic. I'm not all that angry even though it was a nice sony mp3 player. Guess it's just a good excuse to get a new radio for the cm5. oh well. I have some friends from cherry that would keep an ear out plus know a bunch of people who know people type stuff. so i might even be able to get it found. that would rule. just thought i'd rant for a second.
