I guess PP uses my email, luciddream4880@hotmail.com. The distributor is from my complete H22A that's supposed to have less than 70k on everything. I haven't tested it, but I'm sure it works. I have taken apart the entire head and looked at the block and everything looks great, well taken care of. I'll make it right if there's something wrong, or if I know which terminals to fuse-jump for internal coil, I can check it tomorrow on my Prelude's H22A1. BTW, it's kinda funny, I got the 18" hanabis for $380 NEW, and still haven't come up with the $530 for some sweet falken tires (hanabi paperweights). Right now I just wish my car had a falken engine that worked...

Wow, that's a great price! I paid damn near that for my wheels and tires, and I only have 17"s! Honestly, I wish they made 15" in our bolt pattern...

I'll send the money right over. Lemme know if you can check it or not... and when you ship it out. I still have to mess with things to make sure it really IS the distributor and not something else, so there's no real rush.

I can check or ship tomorrow, can you find or link me to a pic or wire colors of the two pins I'd have to jump at the coil/dizzy? I'll check it first if you're not in a hurry, I just need that little bit of technical info. I'll look around here too, I may have it printed out somewhere.

I honestly have no clue... I have a friend working on a DIY for rebuilding a distributor, but until I get that as a reference, it's all new to me.

          40 bones sent your way.

Ok, searched and found the info on the 1st try right here. I busted the dizzy out of storage a second ago. I'll test it tomorrow and try to ship it out Wednesday. I noticed it says REMFG on the inside face, so it's probably a lot newer than the rest of the motor....Thanks man, I hope you get your ride figured out soon, good luck.

Thanks man! Hopefully this will help!

Also, on my way to Wawa tonight to grab some double chocolate milk, I had an idea that might make things easier for me... I can make a clay mold of the current dizzy housing, showing the mark I made on it. Then I can transfer that mold (and the mark) to the new housing... viola, I have my timing mark in place!

Hell yeah, you could also probably measure the distance to the mark from different points on the housing and triangulate that bad boy too. It's funny that you're being that careful about it, I move mine all over the place and don't keep track of any of it . Turning it back (advancing) makes acceleration feel stronger. You guys have double chocolate milk up there?!?! That's not that far away.

Dude, Wawa is the greatest store EVER. They have everything you could ever want... and I can walk to 3 of them

I'm wary with my ignition timing... plus, with no marks on my flywheel, I want to make sure it's dead on!

Hey man, It started raining on me today just as I was about to swap the distributor. I'll check it out tomorrow rain or shine, it shouldn't take but a couple minutes. I hope I don't like it too much, or I'll have regrets...just keeping you posted, later.

I tested yesterday and shipped insured USPS Priority Mail today. When I put it on my stock (vtec) prelude, it started up and idled as normal, then the car cut off suddenly. I checked the fuse I used to jump (bypass) the ext. coil part of my harness, and it was not blown. I looked at the dash and the check engine light was on, so I was like wtf? I tried to center the timing adj. at the mount, then restarted the car. It started up and idled as normal, then did the same shit. Since the check engine light was coming on, and that never happened before (always been ext. coil) when my old dizzy straight died and left me stranded, I figure the computer must have sensed something was amiss (like the thin blue wire in the coil harness not being plugged into anything) and shut shit down. If I'm right, you should be fine since yours was already internal. Just so you know, I noticed yesterday that there are some (screwdriver pry marks?) along the sealing edge where the cap meets the housing. I really didn't know those were there until after I started talking to you about this, and I don't think it's a problem mechanically either, just trying to be honest about it. Some previous owner was retarded. Let me know when you get it or test it if it's cool or if there are any probs, thanks.

Well, if your car started, it's already better off than mine! We'll see how it works

Sucks that I have to work from Saturday through Wednesday, so I probably won't get a chance to do anything. I just got my 92 DX dizzy back in the mail (I sent it to patastinky to try to fix his starting problem) so I'll have parts to play with.
