You picked the ink off, dumbass. Didn't the artist tell you not to pick the scab? The tattoo will show that gray spot now, until you pay to get it filled in again.

yup. i was told w/ mine, wash it lightly w/ mild antibiotic non scented soap. then apply lotion like aveno or lubriderm after day 4. i did that and mine turned out perfect. the reds, greend, blues, purples all of it even the muscle shadind of hulk is outstanding.

stop picking your tat. i have quite a few, all its doing is healing. first the scab, then under that the wrinkled scar-like tissue youre talking about that looks shiny then it will normalize. go to Walmart and get some A+D ointment. if it looks gray some of the ink may have been scratched out, which will leave you a nice little discolored spot, like deev said. your tattoo artist shouldve given you a small tube of ointment at least and gone over how to care for your tat with you. if not then he/she is a terrible artist imo.

My boy Rowdy has about 10 tatoos now, only 2 have scabbed badly, on the contrary he walked around with Vaseline Intensive Care lotion in his pocket and put it on them every time they felt dry(~2 hrs).

Stay on top of the lotion thing, and you won't have a lot of scabbing, given the skin is torn and it's going to scab, keeping lotion on them minimizes the scabs.
