I've been playing around all night, trying to come up with a car that would be fun to play around with... The goal is to have something lightweight and zippy that can be made into something fun for autocross and/or drift. A good aftermarket, obviously, is preferred...
The challenge is to keep EVERYTHING under $2000. That's the car, a suspension upgrade, tires (especially for autocross... amateur drift can be done on crap tires), and a bit of a bump in power.
RWD is preferred, though FWD and AWD are acceptable. The ideal car would be good for BOTH autox and drift.
Now, to make it fun... no speculation. Find a car. Find parts. Get REAL prices Show me what you can build for $2000. Explain why it's a good choice.
Am I really going to do this? Probably not... but it's kinda fun to speculate!
