For all of us that have watched the old LooneyToons; Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Road Runner, W. Coyote...........Warner Bros. has changed all these characters to apeal to the younger audience of today.

Hmmm... shooting, minor drug use, cross-dressing, and more are amung the old loony toons. Personaly, I like the old ones and would show'em to my kids.

yea ive noticed over the years that cartoon network was showing less and less looney toons on the weekends now they show none

My favorite is, and will always be the Road Runner .. that dude was hilarious !!
A few years ago they stopped showing the one's where he sawed himself off a cliff
and fell .. with the lil *poof* and a cloud of dust at the bottom of the canyon ..
Or the ones where he'd be sling shot into oblivion, and go head first into the earth ..
Their reason? It appeared too violent for the kids ..

What happened to this country anyhow? But it's ok to have umteen playstation
games that have shoot-outs in the streets, hookers and pimps, high-speed cop chases
and a zillion other things that seem otherwise allright with censors regarding the industry.

The old ones were pretty bad content-wise. There was one that made fun of Asians pretty badly that was never shown on the air...it was made around 1945. Other than that though I think they were funny. And like South Park they made sure to get everybody...

Yeah and Looney Tunes is and will be the best oldie ever made, besides the lame Mickey Mouse.

Did I menition SouthPark got a Peabody Award? And not to mention they show it on UPN at night now.

if they keep sensoring cartoons as much as they do kids are not going to know what hit em when they see the real world and how it truly functions. i grew up watching cops and the news at an early age so i knew what to expect. i also watched cartoons especially looney tunes to bad the are to "violent" for kids. o well
