Fuck. I'm So Pissed...

My fucking car was broken into at 7am this morning. I'm so fucking pissed. FUCK! So here is what happened:
I usually park in uncovered parking at my apartment complex closer to my apartment, and right under a streetlight. But this time the spot was taken and I had to park up by the entrance off the road. So, my Hornet 506t Paging Alarm starts going off like fucking crazy... and I woke up, figuring it was the shock sensor, but NO... it was a door pin trigger.
So I throw on a shirt, and haul ass on down to my car. When I am about 30 feet away I see this black guy lean out of my car and start running down the street and he hops into a POS El Dorado. All this time I am running down the street screaming and fucking throwing rocks and shit. So I call the police:
Me: My car was broken into 15min ago.
Her: Do you have any suspects?
Me: What? I just want to make a police report and have an officer sent out here.
Her: Are you in any risk of bodily harm?
Me: No.
Her: Did he have a weapon?
Me: Not that I know of.
Her: You will have to call your designated Area Precinct to make a report. Unfortunately they don't open till 9am on Monday.

Fucking Cops, do they not real;ize that crimes happen on the weekends too?
So, now my DEH-P6700MP that I got for 189.99 is fucking gone, and I have no tunes in my ride. Fuck.

I was so pissed at that momeny, if I had a gun, I probably would have shot at them. Not kidding either, it fucking makes me so mad I work my ass off to buy my stuff, then my car gets stolen, so I work my ass off again to buy better stuff, then it gets stolen. I feel like giving somebody a beat down, anybody in fact.

Damn man, that does suck. Since I don't have my license and I haven't been driving my car sits still. Last November, 2 days after i put my head unit in(b-day present from ex-gf) and tested it, the day before it was stolen i was going to remove it, my Kenwood eXcelon KDCX789 was taken by some gangbangas(lol), they were all wearin blue. I stared from my kitchen window as i was on the fone with the cops, not much I could do against 3 of them.. Kinda shitty that the cops got there like 10 minutes after they got off with my head unit. Morons didn't get the faceplaete though..

Just be glad it wasnt your whole car. That would be teh suck if you dont have full coverage on it. But still i woulda done the same if in your position.

So, since they popped the window out of the track to get in... here is what I am thinking... tell me what you guys think:
Call Insurance Company, I have a 100 Dollar Deductible. That means I will get about 100 dollars for the deck.
Then, I tell them about the window, which the dealer wants 185 Dollars just to take off the door panel and put the window back in the track.
I take the 285 and buy a deck, and do the window myself. Do you think it'll work?

correct if im wrong, but im pretty sure that $100 deductible means that you have to cover the first $100, and the insurance takes care of the rest.
i.e. -say they cover your deck and fixing the track on your window, that bill would total $375. so you cover the first $100 and they send you a check for $275.

now, i might be completely wrong here, but that is my understanding with geico. it may vary between companies as well, and thats if they even cover your deck.

yea $100 deductible means u pay the first hundred and insurance pays rest. sry to hear bout bro.....i flip out if some idiot leans on my car nevermind steals crap from it. i'd buy a new deck, leave windows down, park in exact same spot and watch the idot return than have 5 of your friends and u kick the crap outta him. sucks to have all the hard work taken away in one night from a low life! hope u get the stuff back/the guy gets arrested and beaten/everything turns out alright.

Yeah... I said after the 100 Dollar deductible I will have 100 dollars for the deck because 189 + Tax = ~200 200-100= 100
But I have no idea how they do theft stuff.... for example, will an appraiser come out and look at the car just for the window, or will they just take the stealerships word for it..... IDK. I am curious if it is different or the same as a Total Theft (Which I have dealt with).
