    car sitting to long

ok my car been down for like a month hopefully it will be fix next week, i have the money but i dont want to fuck up b/c this is a one shot deal.

but anyway what can i do to preserve my car as for as smell and keeping it in shape.

i have a cover ova it but it still gettin cob webs on it, and the rain is pushing the dirt all around the tires, lookin kind of ugly, i tell to fuck around wit it every otha day.

but what u think i can expect when it starts running, like could the tranny be slow for a while to it warms up, AC, heat smell and not work as good. guess like funny noises b/c parts havent been moved in a while.

i know a month isnt really that long but it damn sure seems like it, especially whenits nice out

well if your just going to let it sit, you should start it up atleast 2-3 times a week and let it run for a good 5 minutes, just to get the fluids flowing.

edit-i originally misread the question. make sure you change your fluids after letting it sit.

depending on how long it's going to be just sitting....

i would move the car around alittle bit (push if you have to), to keep from getting flat spots on your tires. and put some Damp Rid inside. mothballs, or atleast some cedar, to keep moths and other bugs away. i would use cedar.

i did this google search a while back, when i knew my car would be sitting for a while. some good info on the links, alot of it is for extended storage, but some of it is really good advice.
