A few updates since my LCD Supra. I thought I was trailing way off in buying...and I really didn't. Everything below is in 1/18 scale.

Okay, revamped all my cases and added a new one.

You can see my newest adds, a 1 of 250 DA Integra and a 1 of 700 R33 Autech GT-R Sedan. I also was able to pull my old Ertl American Muscle series cars out of storage. I'm excited with my Honda collection. They do make an EF hatch, but I don't have enough of a personal connection for it, sadly.

So I kinda went off the deep end with Hot Wheels. My original plan of going after "every Honda," but really only sticking to one example of each different casting, went out the window. I'm addicted and now want every variation of every Honda that Hot Wheels has ever released. This is going to take many years, especially considering some go for hundreds of dollars (a couple are up around a grand!) and I'd much rather trade up than spend that much outright for such small cars. Here's where I'm at now:

I have all of the BB6s released so far. The white one's loose because it was a multipack exclusive. The green one was exclusive to Dollar General.

          Most of the FK8s:

All three of the dream car. NA2 NSX-R. All of them rubber-tired, metal-based premium models, too!:

In 2020 there was a Honda-themed group within the basic $1(ish) cars. A 5-car set is fluffed up to 11 thanks to color variations. One of the CR-Xs is a Super Treasure Hunt, and one of the FK8s is an unpainted "ZAMAC" exclusive to Walmart:

Then in 2022 they released a Civic-themed set. The $3 mid-tier cars get more artistic card art as well as paint detail on the level of the $6 premium cars, but not rubber tires.

There are a ton of Hot Wheels out there with paint jobs you'll only find in the various kinds of multipacks they do. Here are all but one of my multipack exclusives so far, all repackaged into a custom multipack. The pink FK2 is actually a Matchbox.

The CD Accord gets a second release this year, and imo they couldn't have done the casting better justice.

                Holy cow nice collection AccordWarrior.

I stopped at Walmart yesterday for a box to sit on in the garage while working on the front suspension, and I happened to pass by the toy section lol.

I was lucky enough to find a new for 2024 Pagani Utopia! It's not the best color, a light grey, but the box was close to mint so I grabbed it, along with a Volvo XC recharge SUV in green with green pine trees paint job. I also grabbed an orange 73 civic custom, and a yellow Ducati desert X motorcycle.

1/18 AUTOart Mad Max 2 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT Coupe - Weathered - 1/2,000, was missing the nose and a jerry can, but I was able to source a pair of clean noses and a jerry can which I will have to learn to weather to match. The car looks way better with the nose off, but I wanted to have both options.

1/18 KK Scale Ferrari Daytona Spyder - It's supposed to invoke the Miami Vice Daytona. The car in MV was a C3 Corvette with a Daytona body which had inaccuracies about it. This model is based on a true Daytona in the MV colors / wheels with the MV plate but doesn't have many of the show details that would be incorrect for a real Daytona.

1/18 KK Scale Ferrari Testarossa - this is also based on the Miami Vice Testarossa in terms of color / interior / side mirror.

White Testarossa is so bad ass. Daytona Spyder is cool too.

I picked up a blue Pagani Hyurua Roadster yesterday, and a green Audi S something Avante, Hot Wheels, 1:64 I think.

Bought another Hot Wheels today while going to the store for FOOD. A 2024 Audi RS E-Tron GT in white and black. Unless Hot Wheels or Matchbox come up with something really awesome, like a CB7 Accord in Brittany blue green metallic lol, this Audi is the last die cast I buy for a while since they have raised the price to $1.79. They were .99 last year. Famous last words. lol

It's kind of cool that Ferrari didn't like the fact that the Daytona was fake, so they offered the white Testarossa as an exchange, if they "destroyed" the Daytona. The rest, as they say, is history.

I recently picked up some good finds. Lot's of Hotwheels/Matchbox, but 2 1:18 purchases:

Maisto TransAm in the Bandit colors.

                              Maisto 993 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

Fun fact, the pair of Testarossas provided by the factory were originally black. Michael Mann had them painted white to better show up in the night shots. There was a black Testarossa in the season 3 opener which some people surmise is the original one before it was painted. MV actually used a DeTomaso Pantera made to look like a Testarossa for some of the stunt scenes.

The Daytona which was destroyed by the Stinger Missiles was actually a 1/8 scale model.

I bought a pair of the Bandit T/As myself for $16.99+tax per. One I've got on eBay hoping to make a few bucks. I'm hoping to find the blue variant at Costco for $16.99 to see if I can't build an 80s street machine out of it.

I had the Maisto 993 as a kid, my Mom stepped on it and broke the windshield frame!
