Boardshorts???? Help

I'm looking to buy a nice pair of boardshorts for wakeboarding. Mainly looking at Fox Racing shorts. But I don't know what the Inside of them look like...Do they have the mesh lining? Cause if they don't....well....Hitting the water with no "support" isn't my kinda thing.

Chime in if you know what I'm talking about.

suck it up, mesh is for losers. grab some roxy girl shorts if u cant handle it.

fox is good stuff, so is obrien and o'neil. go to overtons or barts and look for some stuff

i know how u feel with no support tho, i took a huge crash last year on an off axis 360, never came off axis but made the spin all the way around. just picture it, pants off, board off, buckles popped. it sucked, i didnt know what hit me. i had pain in my head and i was seeing blury, i couldnt breathe cause i got the wind knocked out of me, the waves where going over my head to make it worse. i had that pain in ur gut from slamming ur balls. and to top it all off i had no clue where my pants were. moral of the story, get good riding shorts that tie TIGHT!

Yeah, I say Eich Schnay on the hydroplaning testicles. I don't know what all you wakeboarders are complaining about... you guys are only going 18-20MPH. Try Waterskiing 15 Off at 32MPH and taking a crash.... your face slides across the water like its Ice, so I always wear a nice pair of boardshorts with Mesh for sure.

not being a fucking loser, sorry if i offended anyone who rides like that

also everytime i have skied and crashed i have come out of the bindings and just hit the water. i jump free into the water all the time. ill take the seadoo out and if i feel like im getting hot ill go WOT, jump off, and watch the thing sail. yea its an impact but nothing bad, if i had a board attached to me i def. would no do it. hitting the water doesnt matter as much as staying in the bindings and crashing. the board stops, u stop, no matter which way ur legs and body is twisted. id rather skip on the water than stop dead, and ive been through both so trust me on that one.

once again, tell me what looks like it would hurt more



also, are u ever upside down on a ski, no. u ride back and forth, back and forth. i know people 90 years old that still do it, but wouldnt dare put on a wakeboard for fear of getting hurt.

I think they are comparable.

There are wakeboarders that ride at 25 mph and go 15+ feet in the air
There are Waterskiers that ride 30 mph+ and smash into the water

There are wakeboarders taht ride at 15 mph, and don't jump
Tere are water skiers that ride at 20 mph and hardly do anything

I would guess he knows what he's saying .. cuz it can get pretty heavy at Mavericks .. no?
And Ghosty ... tell these guys that that taking gas out at Waimea on a 20 foot set,
free falling into oblivion, then being held under for like a min .. all the while being
tossed and smacked around as if someone dropped ya in a giant washing machine ..
cant come close to losing an edge on a water ski or a wakeboard at 30 mph ..

Trust us .. lol .. lose the mesh ...

Thank you, thank you... for speaking the truth.

Not that I'm doubting all you guys from the midwest, but you ask a Californian or Hawai'ian when you want to learn about something surfing-related.

What hurts more, wakeboarding, waterskiing, or THIS:


Sad thing is that I've been hurt worst on the water by kneeboarding of all things.
