I was cleaning the glass on my supra a lil while ago... and i poped this out of my dash, thinking it was a lose screw





Heres a picture of it from outside of the windshield, it in the dash





I dont think its a security system LED, because it already has one in the cluster. and it cant be an aftermarket LED because the car never came with a arm/disarm remote, it dosent have a siren on it... no signs of any installed security system... It looks like a tiny camera... Sorry for the shitty pictures, i did the best i could.

any one have any ideas?

if it was laying flat and pointing upwards, then it looks like a sunload detector. It's ued for the heat/ A/C system. Looks a lot like a camera tho.

or maybe a light sensor switch for the headlights..? (a sensor that automatically switches on your headlights when goin through tunnels.. some cars has it as an option)
