i still remember when no one in america knew what reggeaton is.. i brought some Big boi and vico c cd's back from PR way back and people just looked me funny when i bumped it... and look at it now.. it kinda sucks how people just follow trends, give it a year or two and reggaeton'll won't be the big boom anymore

The first time I heard reggaeton was when one of my panamanian buddies was bumpin it in his corolla and I asked him why it should so much like reggae, then explained that it was the same thing as the reggae songs but redone in spanish. Seeing that I'm Jamaican I actually started to bump it too because of the beats.
