canadian political comedy show did something like that. rick mercer's "talking to americans" he made americans look ignorant, by going to the capital, or harvard, or other places that are supposed to have people with certain levels of knowledge and say shit to them like "canada wants to name their currency the dollar now, like the US, but you guys have a problem with it, you say the dollar belongs to you, like the brits have the pound, and there's the peso, and yen and so on. americans think that they should call it the looney, what do you think of that?"

and all these prominent, educated people just go along with it. like governors and professors and stuff. it's great.
