site slow?

bump. loads slow at times and sometimes acts like it freezes and I gotta refresh and it'll load instantly All other sites I visit are fine. It's not my connection. Just does it sometimes.

when mine freezes during load, the bottom bar in my browser sometimes shows "Transferring data from ads.clicksor.com.." and sometimes "Waiting for www.cb7tuner.com..."

i haven't been on the site for a while, and i have to say... this clicksor thing sucks. i understand the need for ads and funds for sites, but man...

It's been running slow for me for awhile. I always have to hit the refresh button. It's kinda annoying.

I've noticed occasional slowness as well... not sure what to make of it. It might be associated with the crap Clicksor just added (the Bookmark This thing). I'm contacting them to see if that can be removed from my code.

Honestly, the little box at the top of the page is no more taxing than half the sigs in this thread. If the site is slow, it's not a result of that. I love have the same people bitch about the ads every time. If you don't like it, you have 3 choices... deal with it, donate so I don't have to run the ads, or leave.

For sure. I contacted Clicksor about the ads... They've been running for months with no issue, so I doubt it's anything in the old functionality that's doing it. It may be an issue on the host's side.

I just went into the admin control panel (where there are no ads.) It was slow there too for a bit. It's the server. I'll contact the hosting company if it continues.
