Maybe see if you can patch things up w/ Jeff? I mean, he did go out of his way to get you that motor and all, so he may have blown up for a good reason, maybe alittle harsh, but he prob. meant well I know this motor means alot to you, so maybe try to work something out!

When I help my friends out (w/ cars or w/e) and they just drop the ball when I put in so much work/offer my time, I get upset, b/c it's needless and unnecessary. I'm not saying what you did is needless and unnecessary, but maybe try to look @ it from Jeff's perspective too

Please PM me if you need anything Eric

He definitly didnt go out of his way by any means..all he did was talk to the guy for 5 min, and he happened to have that motor around.

I still dont think i "dropped the ball" i mean, if i would have sent the check regular mail to canada..the earliest it would have been there was wed, probably even later. I was going to over night the money, even if i sent it out monday (which i had off from work, so it actually would have worked out well) it still probably would have arrived two days earlier than expected.

Also, The motor probably wouldnt have arrived until at least next week, so i wouldnt be able to install it until the following weekend anyway.

I cant see any reason for his reaction, and the more i think about it the more it pisses me off

did you let the motor guy know?

          IMO that'd be standup...

          as for the friend...

sounds kind of immature adn selfish... I certainly wouldn't want to owe someone like that anything...

If I were closer I'd help you with the swap... but alas... wrong side of the country...

Good luck to ya though man... I've been kinda following the G20 project...

I was remaining neutral, but since you explain it further, you're def. right and I wasn't saying "you did this and you did that" but Best of luck though, are you just putting this on hold for now, temporarily??? You're def. right though Eric.

You should have never sold your cb7 eric. I think you got too used to it wanted to try something new and it jsut didnt work out. Theres too many variables that come intot he equation like downtime, problem solving, trying to find the right part. Get your cb7 back from whoever you sold it to .

my CB7 doesnt exist in its famous form anymore....I dont want it back anyway. I want to start from scratch again, which is why i bought the G20, it just so happens that the car compeltely fell apart like a month after i bought it. go figure

Eric; Just do what you want man, that guy sounded like a joke for what he did, if he comes back and tries sucking up tell him to beat it. As for the g20 and its issues, maybe selling it will be best, or maybe just dropping an engine will fix it. Try and track down the one you were going to buy and snatch it, then store it somewhere for now, you can find a garage and tools with some time. Maybe your 'friend' will smarten up a bit, and you can jack his space an tools and just get the car pointing in the right direction. You made that Accord amazing, I am sure you'll do the same with this G if you keep pushing along. Good luck man.

Well, how has your G totally fallen apart since you bought it??? And whatever happened to that really nice silver G20 from CA was it? W/ the DET and other mods? What happened w/ that?

Yeah, take some time to cool down, making decisions when you're angry or confused is ify

Man... that reminds me of Meg's current situation... Her "best friend" and former maid of honor just totally spazzed on her. She's convinced that Meg is making a mistake by marrying me, and wants no part of the wedding. Some best friend, huh?

Some people are just a little nuts... It'll blow over eventually, as long as you let it. He won't hold it against you forever, I'm sure. However, it'll always be your fault in his eyes. Better to just let it go, I guess!

As for the G20, I'm sorry to hear it's not working out! You're probably better off getting rid of it before you spend too much on it... that is unless you feel it's worth it. Also, don't buy your motor from Canada! If you get screwed, you have to deal internationally to recover your money (ie. not worth it!)

I've actually been toying with the idea of an RB powered 240sx... My ideas change so frequently though, I can't say I'm actually going to do it
