I wonder how much the ratio to amount produced that year to amount stolen is.
I think that would provide a more accurate result as opposed to how many are stolen.

Yeah, they cranked out like 400,000 CB's a year...all those cars are pretty popular; theives chop 'em up for parts.

Yeah but I'm saying if hypothetically, 3000 91 Accords were stolen, and 2500 Dodge Caravan's were stolen.
But 400,000 Accords were produced and only 20,000 Caravans were made, therefore making the Caravan a MUCH higher risk to be stolen, whereas in the case of the Accord, there's just so many that that number is expected and possibly below average.

This was actually done and the list has been revised. Sure if there were so many Accords made, simple odds.

The actually Cars Made/Cars Stolen list was scary. I believe 7 of the top 10 were DC2 Integras, then it was the 99-00 Civic Si, and then one other car.

Scary, huh?
