    writing on money.

i handle alot of money in a day, i see all kinds of writing, like i love..., i've seen phone numbers, stains, just all kinds of stuff. have you ever wondered who did it and why and where it originated from? imagine what kind of story they'd tell.

I see all kinds of $5 bills with little confederate flags stamped over top of Lincoln's face.

You know it's illegal to deface american currency. Which is funny because most stores if you hand them a $20 or larger bill they will take out a marker and draw a line to make sure it's real. So basically stores encourage cashiers to break the law. Just becasue it's not enforced, doesn't mean it's not illegal.

not all of them. some of them will write with highlighters. and then once they get to counting it later into stacks. like a stack of $5's adding up to $100. or something like that, they will mark the top of the stack to say it's been counted. or they will count a stack of odd bills and then write the total on the top bill.
