am i stupid or something? i think i am the only one who has not caught on to this yet. people say to me "hey travis, whats good" all the time. what the hell do i say to that. at first i took it as "hey travis, whats up", and i would respond with "nothing". but then they looked at me as if to think nothing is good in my life. so if it doesnt mean "whats up", then does it mean literally "whats good"? so what do i say "well i got good gas milage today", "i got an A on a math test"???? sorry for being a country boy and not knowing the new lingo.

i see a huge laugh/flame fest starting here so try and go easy on me, just let me know what the hell this phrase means so i can respond to people

Now, thats whats really good! Just simply a slang most northerners use. I'm from NY but I live in South Florida now but I still use my same slangs which mostly everyone has caught on to. There is a another slang out there that I'm not really feeling, "what they do?". This started in Dade-county Miami and now its heard in Rap songs from artists like "Paul Wall". 1st time hearing it, I replied with , "who?". Guess its a next form of "wassup", "whats good", "whats really good?", etc

"whats good" means "whats up" right? so if someone says to me "whats good" and i say "the sky", that sounds like im a big religous guy and i worship the earth and all its little creatures
