Ok, does this seem suspicious or not?

Yesterday someone offered to buy my car, was really rude and basicly called my car a POS, even though I had a nice stereo, and such in the car.... The next day I find my car has been broken into.. Luckly the only damage is that my passenger side door wont open without me having to have the key in it and turn it while pulling the latch, and not to mention that day I removed my radio, S-AFC, A/F gauge, and placed my quick release steering wheel in my car and had my wheel inside the house. I guess they looked for either the steering wheel or anything worth stealing in my trunk but my car was empty.


I just find it odd that this happened, I'm wondering if that guy was just trying to see what I had on my car for later..


Also the asshole theif stole like a dollar in change out of my coin box.

sounds like the dude checked out the car and broke into it def....gotta watch who u talk to and who u inform about what u have done to your car....sry that happend to you man

I rarely mention any mods I've done to unknown people, plus the fact he called it a POS makes me wonder.

from what i hear on this board and theifts........doesn't surprise me one bit...where i live cars dont get stolen often its very rare, because the theif doesn't want to end up on the bottom of the cove with a lobster trap....

Also he seems to have broken my glove box, I can't open it but there was nothing in it as the car is currently parked tell I get insurance.

I figure he probably insulted your car in hopes that you'd start telling him what's done to it... "No way man! I have a 200hp motor under there with an AEM intake and an SMSP header! I share what I have done to my car all too readily... of course, I park right under my bedroom window, and I'm VERY alert Plus, I sleep with a 3' long saber next to my bed... I can be in my driveway in about 35 seconds. An angry chubby white guy in a pair of boxer shorts weilding a sword is NOT a pretty sight!

Sounds like that guy definetely took ur car.If you live in a house you could buy one of those camara's wit TV monitors that they sell in home depot for like $100 and point the camara directly at your car.My cousin did that in nj.

I think I would report his as$ to the po po's You gotta have one hell of a good description if you talked to him before. And where did you talk to him at? Did you see his car? If he comes back a second night in a row, then you know you have yourself a dumb one. If he does...beat him up real good, make sure he gets a punch in so it looks like you were defending yourself. Make him think twice about f'ing with someone elses stuff next time.
