Another first speeding ticket.

Well I get a call from my mom saying I got a ticket in the mail, they clocked me going 51 in a 40, but luckily they only charged me with a 0-9 mph which comes out to 145$ i'm not going to fight it though because I was in the wrong and was speeding, and its just not worth trying to get over on. I hardly ever speed to be honest but they cought me one of the few times I actually do. I might sell the recaros I bought from ray I really dont want to but lately it seems as though my money is going left and right. Good start on spring break Although I know it could be much worse.

Yep i recently got clocked doing supposedly 88 in a 65 in a work zone....Turns out the ticket was 215 i got lucky since no workers present. But still though it blew ass i wasnt even close to 88.....there was a damn suburban in front of me.

yea 86 in 55 on a highway not long ago. set me back $186. Cop was a major dick too and looked like one of the cops from super troopers

They didn't pull him over and write him a ticket and let him know what it was for...they video taped or whatever and then went back and just mailed tickets to peoples addresses linked to the license plate that they "observed" speeding. If you didn't get pulled over and GIVEN a ticket then as far as I can see it's bogus and I'd fight it in court and on other levels as well. Don't take that shit

Yea here in Az cameras are the cops on the 101 freeway we have cameras that get everyone, im pretty sure Az is the only state that does this.

Cameras at intersections aren't anything new. THey use sensors under the roads to know when to take the pictures and they are angled to get the best pics.

yeah, thats for red lights... but his was for speeding.. sucks majorly, getting harder and harder to speed.

In Charlotte they have speed cams, which are guys sitting in white vans on the side of the road. Since a traffic officer does not stop you, they do not add points to license, but they are pretty much undisputible.
