How many songs do you have on your ipod/mp3 player?

I started messing around with my ipod the other day and never realized I had so many songs on it, the damn thing is almost full.

I have a 4g Ipod Nano w/ 813 songs. I wonder if I can actually hit the advertised 1000 song capacity.

What does everybody else have?

i'm a dj so i have to keep up with my music. I got 6,237 songs on my 20Gb ipod but that's because i compress the files before i add it to my itunes palylists. I'm about 70% full......

On my computer now is different story.....11,054 songs to be exact. I got songs from all music genres. External hard drive is the way to go for me...........

iPods are such a fad, it makes me sick.....no offense to those who own them. I have about 40 gig in MP3 format on my external 100 gig hard drive.

I dont think ipods are really a fad... I think that they are a very convenient way to carry around a massive amount of music that you can access at the touch of a button. Until something better comes along then people will still be using ipods i think. Were discman's a fad? People originally thought tv was a fad...
