Well take time is right around the corner, and I wanted to know what you guys use for getting your taxes right... Do you have a computer program or take it to a place?

I am a self emplyed music teacher at a guitar store... Any tips?

Took about 15 minutes including Netfiling.

They also have free tax services. Um around here you can go to any local library and Acouple of senior centers. They will hand do it, or even Efile it for free!

i paid someone that my mom knows to do mine, just to help them out.

I did mine myself all you got to do is follow the instructions and have your w2 wit you.

I did mine last year and it was a mega bitch if you are self-employed. Confused the hell out of me. I bought turbo tax this year....Hopefully it will help.

I think I'll be doing mine tonight. Never did my own since I got my mortgage, so I'm a little wary myself. I figure, if I get confused, there's still time to pay someone to do it! The whole itemization thing is new to me.
