    My revelation

Yea so I was thinking about how I was gonna put my car in a shop to get my swap done and I realized something, I thought to myself, "Be a man Jon...DIY" I'm not mechanically adept when it comes to motors, I'm pretty good at wiring and electronics and suspension. So it'll be a learning experience. Flaming aside, all I have to go by is manuals and CB7tuner.com.

So I'm at stage one...the pre-swap stage. I bought a shitload of tools and my dad gave me some socket wrenches, drill, etc. And I'm gonna go check out a hoist within the next few weeks. But before I start on that I need to take care of everything pre-swap. Alright guys so from your experiences, my car is running all stock, everything is original except the radiator, and alternator/starter of course. Do I HAVE to change the hoses, pumps, master cylinder etc before I dropp the motor in, or is that only if they're in fucked up shape? All my hoses are still in relatively good condition. I am going to change the master cylinder because I've been having problems with it. But as far as all the other shit, is it a necessity or just a good choice to do so?

By the way..wish me luck. This is gonna be like exploring a cave without a flash light. Cause I dont know shiiiiiiiiiiiit about motors.

How else would you do it without a hoist? Jack the body over the engine?

it's always a good idea to do so, but you can take the risk.

That is the spirit in which to do all things.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.
