Once again, I will say this. I have lived in New York, Jersey Shitty and in California, so I can talk from experience. You couldn't pay me enough to go back there. The import scene is off the chain here, car insurance is cheap (compared to New Jersey, which has the HIGHEST AUTO INSURANCE IN THE COUNTRY) , there isn't a thief on every corner, cops here are WAY more chill, ect. Jersey guys, take a look at my CB7. Do you honestly think this thing would last 5 minutes at night in Jersey City? I think not. Besides the cops here being a little bit more lax than Jersey, guys here in general have more respect for other peoples rides. Yeah you have your crooks here and there, but for every one thief here, there is 20 in NY/NJ. You might get 1-2 tickets here every other year, but you'll be getting 1-2 tickets A WEEK in Jersey for the same car. Trust me, I know. EVERY one of my friends that comes to visit me from either New York or New Jersey now wants to move out here. That should tell you something. And oh yeah, my car has no rust!

^^^ we were just talking about that when you were in the I.E., anyways the cops are assholes but not as bad as everyone thinks, our import scene is so huge cops would have to pull over a shitload of people just to single out imports. let's not turn this into a cali bashing thread, everyone who said "i would never live in cali" has never been here or is a hater, i LOVE So.Cal we have bomb ass weather (no snow thank god) and we don't drive rust buckets. unless someone was unlucky and bought a EASTcoast car.

to clear up the i-VTEC, HONDA has been the only company for the last 5-7 years to complete the Smogg test under what is recommended by the feds, while stilling holding 170+ HP from their cars, subi, misti, ex ex all are boarderlined, so theres no way in hell i-vtec is illegal in any state, Honda is the most economical Car company/ emission's company in the states....just thought id point that out....

Thanks to the guys who defended Cali. I was kind of offended by some of the comments as well. I mean we aren't living in Nazi Germany. It ain't that bad. Like a lot of cali peeps said, if you're aren't doing stupid shit to attract attention then you're usually cool. I haven't had my front license plate on for 5 years(knock on wood) and have never got a second look from a cop. Of course I don't have limo tint or a loud ass exhaust which I'm sure helps.

Anyways, I think we can thank all the idiot ricers out there that plowed into Suzy Soccer Mom and her 5 kids while street racing for the increased law enforcement crackdown.

All those supercars come out of the factory making crazy power yet clear the emissions that cops are so retardedly "worried" about. While us with our Hondas have to bolt on parts that spit out more unburned gas but gain maybe 5HP from all of them put together. Don't get me wrong, I like polluting the air as much as the rest of you guys
