i live in ontario, where there are many races on friday and saturday nights,

i have never gotten pulled over, i guess i'm just lucky though, as long as you don't drive like an idiot you'll be aight

wikked is right its only bad in san diego i live in LA and never got pulled over for shit me and tim has been running w/o front plates for almost a year now never got pulled over for it. living in cali isnt as bad as you guys think it is....i have been to car meets where cops do pull up and just chill and check wuts under the hood just for pure knowledge, not to give out tickets. offcoarse if you do stupid shit then ur ass will get busted......

I am originally from Jersey and now live in Cali. Let me tell you something though, I've gotten pulled over more times on the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway for doing the speed limit and being hispanic then out here in Cali. If you ask me, New Jersey sucks! It has the highest insurance rates in the country, mad thieves, and asshole racist-ass cops! I've been living here in Cali for the last 4 years and my driving habits have not changed. How many times have I've been pulled over...........ZERO! I'd be on my 1 millionth ticket in Jersey by now. Cali is not bad. I KNOW what bad is. Bad=NJ If you chill out here, keep the stickers off your ride, and drive like a normal human being, than you should be fine. If you speak spanish and drive an import on the NJ Turnpike or the Garden State Parkway while wearing your seat belt, driving under the posted speed limit and your tail lights work, look out! I agree with R33 the cops will pull u over and make stupid excuses.One time I got pull over because one of my ligths from the plate was out B.S. he just wanted to see how many were in the car. I was going 33mph I had 5% tint on the back 35% on the front, modified exahust and some other shit and he didn't mention anything. the first thing he ask was are u a gang member sir.
the raeson I pull u over it's because u were goin to slow and one of the ligths from ur plates is out.wich it wasn't true. but again I'm hispanic and that equals a gangmember or a street racer

about 90% what you do to your car is illegal anyway on most states... its just cali enforces it more.

i did get pulled over 2 twice... YES FOR STUPID SHIT TOO. First time for superwhites, and ride height. second time was for the breather filter/ ride height. which i got sent to the smog reff. yes we avoid cops at all costs... WHO DOESNT?! it isnt hard to legalize your motor here, most mods are just bolt-ons anyway. and people usually have a "what if i get pulled over?" plan just in case they do get pulled over.

i did talk to the smog reff who legalizes motor swaps and regulates engine modifications...and the smog reff even told me that the police arnt really trained by the certified smog reffs who work for the c.a.r.b. they were just mearly informed by other sources/trainers which gives them cheap info for which cops mostly mistaken wrong doings.

the smog reffs are pretty cool as well, they bag on cops too saying that cops dont really know their shit either.

out of the cali guys in this website... you'll maybe see 3 of us get pulled over for some type of mod once in a blue moon. Our import scenes are still the biggest, it is possible to drive RHD car in this state all it is, is paper work.

dont bag on the sd guys either, most of us have legal h22 swaps in our cars. its not hard to put your car back to regulations either.

if the cop scene in cali is soo bad, then why do we still have an over abundance of imports in the scene still?

If we are soo bad on laws, why do we still have a largely based manufactuers/distributers for performance parts. (EX) apexi/skunk2/eibach. SKUNK2 EVEN BRINGS OUT THEIR CARS TO THE ILLEGAL RUNS in SO CAL.
