Run 5-10% ethanol fuel. All my numbers were *way* under allowable limits...some by as much as 90%.

    HC limit 40km/h 73, mine 27
HC limit curb idle 200 mine 22

    CO limit 40km/h .41 mine .01
CO limit curb idle 1 mine 0

    NO limit 836 mine 28

New O2 sensor, original cat, ethanol fuel.

NH also has the same thing, OBD 0/1 is exempt from everything, so 96+ vehicles have it the hard way Best of luck Eric, it's really too bad you have to put hard earned $ into a motor that's going to be ripped out in a matter of weeks

or he jus says ok computer this is the car youre doin (erics) and puts something else on it. the computer doesnt know what car its checking.

Yea, that's exactly what I was gonna say, but with grammar. Get a random little Civic or something and take its emissions numbers. That's probably what they do at the illegal places.

I'll bet a USDM ecu will make a low mileage JDM motor emissions clean.

If you do a motor swap with a bad cat, the motor will fail emissions no matter how clean the motor runs. Trust me, I went through it. You can probably go to a decent muffler shop (not any of the chains, they'll rip you off) and get a new cat installed for about $100. Why not get your whole exhaust done now! You're probably going to after the swap anyway, right?

Im not doing just a "motor swap", im putting in a JDM SR20DET. there is no way in hell its going to pass emissions, thats why i want to get the sticker now, so that i dont have to take the emissions test for two years and i can enjoy my motor
