hey when you plug it in..it should create a specified drive....
click on start...then click on goto run......then type explorer...find that drive it just created.....ie (E:, F:, G......then cut n paste the pic to that new drive it creates once your O.S detects it.

well to answer the question if you havent figured it out...you need to own some kind of photo software. im not sure if the software will work that came with the camera. so this is how i did it with adobe photo album. on the right side of the program you can make sub folders to put photos in their own category. for example make a sub folder called ipod photos. when you plug in your ipod and itunes loads go to preferences and click on ipod. there will be a photo tab. then there will be a list of programs to use if you have multiple. click on the program you use. and i used album so i would click on that and the subfolder i made called ipod photo will show up. make sure the folder you want is checked with the box next to it and then do apply. and after you change the picture folder by adding new pictures it will automatically add them to your ipod when you update it. hope this helps

You just make a folder and put all your pictures in that folder and then go into iTunes and set it to that folder or something and then iTunes will load all the pictures from that folder onto your iPod.
I read it on the apple website somewhere a while back. It's pretty simple actually once you do it. Seems like alot but it's not.
