cool now that were all getting along,WHO WANTS TO RACE lol.well i hope to make my accord much much much faster than it is,i hope to one day have some very good races with scott 2point6, but those days are quite a few away, but for now i like just proving that my totally stock looking accord will whip the shit out of alot of cars it shouldnt,i love sleepers of all kinds. nothing better than an old duster or valiant with a 440 in it or a ford fairlane with a 427 or even a old buick with a 455 stage 1 in it lol.but the gas got to be too much and i fell in love with my cb7 i have had almost every make and model of car there is, and the 2 cars ive owned the longest was my 67 fairlane and my cb7.another very cool car to me is the datsun 510 very sleeper lol.anyways as long as someone doesnt talk down to me or about what i have, and they are just cool car guys, im down with them man thats cool.theres a guy at the local vatozone here in town thats big into muscle cars but we started talking one night and he literally picked my brain about imports and hondas and was very interested and intrigued by it. it was cool to be able to talk cars with somebody that was into a totally different brand but still be interested and no hating.anyways good conversation to say the least, and its always good to have a favorite, unfortunately one of mine is ford lol.let the flaming begin lol.

You know going from a Honda to a domestic, I really see the big difference in quality.
Honda has been know for being green, and by that I mean , Hybrid cars (Insight, Civic Hybrid and not to be forgotten GX I saw one the other day), Ultra Low Emissions.
They aren't widely known for power unless like Deev mentioned the F1 Racing cars which are powered by Honda V8s.
I like both Nissan and Honda, I do agree that Nissan has that edge in styling and the vehicles it offers performance vehicles instead of cars that are designed to save gas.
Honda has 16 models of cars and trucks versus Nissans 11 models. Theres more to this but ill finish later.Henry R

Here's what I used to drive
Silly swapped Hondas
I ditched the Mustang because of gas mileage vs. performance. While it did have slightly higher performance than my CRX (not gonna bullshit there) the gas mileage was terrible. I was getting somewhere between 10 and 15 mpg on a good night. With my swapped CRX that has almost as bad of a gear ratio for daily driving as the Mustang did, I'm getting 25 or so in town and on the highway.
It's only slightly slower (due to the launch) from a stop because there isn't much you can do about 300++ ft/lbs of torque, 4.10 gears, and some fat drag radials.
That said, I want another Mustang.

swaps are definitely the way to go tho. Since i had my old F22, and now my H22, i'm much happier with the swap. It feels like stock except when i want to go fast i can!
honda is reliable. instead of making reliable honda engins unreliable by doing crazy modifications, swaps just make sense. i have 70 more horsepower with a swapped engine and its still a stock engine. i don't have to worry about blowing anything up because its a stock motor! i could go fast with the f22, but the swap makes it more reliable.

Exactly. I could put a turbo on an F22A1 and make as much (or more) power than my H22 makes... but I wouldn't feel as comfortable with the reliability factor. A well built turbo system on a healthy motor could be quite reliable, but a low-mileage swap is often better. You're not adding anything new with a swap. It's a stock motor. There is absolutely NO way you can add 20-95 more horsepower to a car and still have it "stock" other than a swap!
I think of it this way... if I wanted to add 75 horsepower to my car, I could swap in an H22, or spray a 75 shot of nitrous

I hate the way Hondas are always bashed on but really I'm friends with a good group of guys. 2 own toyotas 1 owns a chevy and 2 others own hondas. Besides the chevy guy being a little cocky there really isn't any "your car sucks just because of the H badge on the grill." Granted my stock f22a1 isnt a glorious speed demon but I can still beat my friends toyota carolla, but then again Im manual. But if I like it then thats the end of it and if you dont then dont ride in it.
Not all hondas need engine swaps to be fast cause the engines that we swap into our cars h22 f22b f20a all come from some other honda. So if I really felt like buying a new car I could go buy a 92-96 prelude and already be fast. But the cb7 has characterDIY antenna control

No Deev, I don't think you understand...
I NEED an H22!
Sorry LOL. I just thought of the scene in Gone In 60 Seconds when they are stealing the Jag and he says "cuz brotha, we NEED this car!"
LOL! Sorry, I am entertaining myself.

That's true, you do NEED an H22... but only so you can test your crazy theories and tell me what works and what doesn't

Seriously though, it is just sitting there in my garage staring at me from under a sheet (didn't want it dirty as I "borrowed" the plenum for other projects!); and it is making me sad. Very very sad.
Soon enough I may have a car that will run a 15.9.
