Why Honda's need engine swaps to be fast?

Dunno where to post this... but whatever. I was on some site and theres a thread "What's you car?" So i posted my cb7 with h22 swap and so they start hatin on my POS honda. And there's this guy said "Its a nice car, but I laugh how Honda's need engine swaps to be fast". And i was thinking to say to be a sleeper, but i think thats not good enough for it lol. So can someone give me some good counter for that comment lol.

ill be the first to say that how come muscle car guys swap rear ends and bigger motors? too me fast right. 9in rear end from a ford works perfectly in a camaro. 454 swap in a 68 chevelle that came with a 396. hello they want more power. ls1 swaped in a 97 camaro then now its a ls6 swap

i raced this civic with vtec stickers today..and he didnt have vtec......

hondas dont need to be swapped to be fast...its just a luxury we have..that swapping are engines are very easy and interchangeable....

to be fast with a honda..fuck a swap.....you need fuckin boost! when im done boostin my f22a6 its gonna be fast...and i didnt need an h22 to do it.

Yeah, that's also true. It is just an easy option that we have. But like most honda's, their only fast when they weight nothing.

you are damn right. i hate it when a car goes past my job and the grown guys (2 of them) make noises of a import car. its not a honda but it annoying as fuck. and its funny how us import hate on other imports. we rarely say fuck that mustang, fuck that comaro, fuck that lighting. im just saying. but when they get beat by a 15 yr old car and its a ACCORD they SHUT THE FUCK UP REAL QUICK

fuck it im going to put type r stickers on my ek tomorrow then im going to be fast. thats what makes hondas a quick and easy target. its those RICER KIDS WITH THOSE VTEC STICKERS THAT FUCK IT UP FOR EVERYONE

People are quick to say honda b/c every jackass can afford one. There is no short supply of honda's, or parent handing them down to their kids. Their kids in turn throw a muffler on and think they're fast b/c it sounds so damn cool.(bs) I have the same problem in my area. Kids buy big wings loud sound systems and extremely loud exhausts system but have nothing to back it up.
They drive around reving there stock engines and that is cool to them.

few weeks ago im driving to my friends house, took the back roads and these two kids revved there exhaust at me and i laughed my ass off. one was a stock 2nd gen probe the other was a 92 240 both with universal mufflers. later that week i spoke to the kid on-line that owns the 240 and he got pulled over for speeding so did his friend. DAMN RICERS. i dont even get a look at from a cop in my EK but in my CB thats a different story

the only response needed:
i swapped my engine for the same reason that people with cars have put more powerful engines into their cars since the dawn of teh age of cars....i wanted an engine with higher baseline power.

its the same reason as stated already, that someone would swap a 305 for a 350, or an ls1 in place of an lt1. Hell lets talk about the 4cylinder mustangs they have v8's swapped into them. Why would a MUSTANG need a swap to be fast?

I always got that in the accord. But not once in the prelude. The accord never gets a second look but lots of laughs and jokes until I leave them at the light. The prelude just gets stares and too many questions about the paint and the seats...

And Hondas dont need swaps to be fast. I know of many sohc civic that can give both my lude and accord a run for their money with just a few bolt ons. Turbo sohc civics are running 13s with unbuilt motors...
