Case of mistaken identity, I'm such an idiot...

God, I feel so stupid. I just got back from the tire store and boy am I embarassed. So, this afternoon I decide I'm tired of looking at my crappy winter wheels (they're OEM but they're not in very good shape) and that I should take the car in to get the all-seasons put on the "new" OEM wheels I bought off of a fellow CB7Tuner member. Well, I load up the car, being sure to put down a black rubber mat in the trunk so as not to dirty up the carpeting and I carefully laid out a blanket on the backseat to put in the wheels and tires since they all wouldn't fit in the trunk. I figure I'll be there just before the place closes, everything will work out, etc.

Well, I get there and like fifteen minutes later the guy comes back and is like, "Um, ma'am, are you sure those are the right tires for your Accord?" And I'm like, "Of course, why wouldn't they be?" He goes on, "Well, those are 16" tires. Your car's wheels are 15s." After about five minutes of thinking and tossing back and forth possibilities, we both realized something......... those are the freakin stock tires from the WRX!

I guess in the rush of things I didn't even bother to look in the plastic bags the tires were wrapped in. Ugh, soo stupid! I also have to wait til tomorrow morning to take the car back in. Geez, that was a waste of 20 miles. *SIGH* Oh well, at least I loaded up the car with the RIGHT tires this time... it's all set to go whenever I decide to head back over there. God, it's kinda funny I looked like a typical stupid girl who didn't know what tires belong to what car.

Glad to hear it. I noticed two guys laughing at me when the manager and I were trying to figure out who's tires those were. Luckily, he looked up all of my records in the computer and figured out those were the WRX's tires.

Yeah, um... hence it being posted in the "off topic" forum, HEHE. I'm glad you like my sig. It was done by my buddy and fellow CB7Tuner member, erikm. He does cool sigs, I lucked out since he did mine as a birthday gift

So, you're originally from Spokeezie, huh? Interesting. PM me and let me know what part.

I love Rosauers. I shop at their organic market "Huckleberry's" more often, though. It's the closest thing we've got to "Whole Foods" in the area.

                        don't feel too bad.

I spent all day getting to a fuel pump and replacing it only to find out I could have got to it from the top by unbolting 4 bolts.
                        Hi, I'm Shippo and I have a problem. I keep buying CB7's.
