So im at work, and i have to take a crap. I sit down on the toilet, and there is a random newspaper laying on the ground in front of me. I figured i would be there for a while so i picked it up and started reading it. When i picked it up, a gold watch fell out from inbetween the pages. I picked it up and looked at it, and it was a solid gold ROLEX! luckily i was on the toilet, or i probably would have shit my pants.

At first though i was goign to keep it, Hell i could buy my new engine, paint, and suspension with that thing. By the time i was done doing my business, all i could think about was that stupid show "My name is Earl" and how Karma effects people, so after thinking about it, i turned the stupid thing in at the security desk!!


now, a hour later im kicking myself for it. I dont know what the hell i was thinking. Last year i lost $600 cash at school and no one turned it in. This was my condolence and i gave it away!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

because i work for the largest data storage company on the planet, the big wigs here make well over 6 figures a year and more. This is a highly professional environment, i highly doubt anyone would be "setup" here. Its not like i found it on the streets of new york...

i unno dude, watches don't just fall in newspapers. it's not like it was just lying on the sidewalk and someone legitemately lost it. it was prolly put there for some reason. i would have kept it. if no one claims it in a certain time period are you allowed to keep it?

my friend found a big fat silver pen with like a hand engraved mural all over it depicting napoleon. it was a limited edition pen of like 250, made in italy by delta. he did some research, it sells for like 1500$....no one kept it, he sold it on ebay for like 500$

It was a legit ROLEX, and the gentelman was very nice about it. He said he took it off because it was bothering him (i can image why, the thing must have weighed 50lbs) and forgot he had left it.

Personally I would have just taken the 50 bucks also on that note maybe it was a setup maybe to see if they can trust/catch a thief yaknow. I mean comon someone takes their watch off just to take a dump just to drop . Strange I say its a setup rolled in newspaper aswell yeah its a setup. Ive seen it done plenty of times Especially at my job most of these high neck and agent smith lookin cats at my job make 6 figures hell even moe due to their years there back at the base.


They do that kinda stuff and leave it up to the loss prevention guys. These guys look like your everyday worker say hello to you say to be your friend. You steal once thats it they gotcha. It suprises me who they catch in the act.

definitly. I guess he was out of the building for most of the day, so i was starting to think "i bet this is some rich bastard who drives a porsche and has a rolex for every day of the week"
