He is such a wealth of knowledge. If there's a problem you can't figure out he is definately someone to turn to. BUT, if you haven't done your own due dilegance and searched previous threads the hammer will fall. I personally take great joy in helping you guys. And I look to you for your knowledge from your own skills and experience. Anyway, while looking at the treads lately I have seen a trend of threads that were started without searching previous threads. I just saw one about someone wanting to know what does CB7 mean. I just knew Uncle_El was going to be there, and it wasn't pretty.

90% of the posts El closes has been created 4-5 times in the past and are common questions. By linking and locking it streamlines the board...plus then the person who makes the new thread can add his info the the last thread and then go from there, thus having less clutter on the board.

el, you're never mean. I think it's funny when your patience finally wears thin, since you're always so very patient! Any harsh words from el are ALWAYS deserved. He's the originator of the "link and lock" technique that all the mods are trying to practice. As a moderator, I don't think there is a single mod (past or present) that doesn't look up to him. As a cb7 tuner, I don't think there is anyone that can't appreciate the clean, classy look of his car. Take a lesson from Elliot... just in... being.
