I just got a ticket becasue a was about to race with a civic hatch in a red light. When i was about to launch the fucken cop was right in my back. He give me a ticket wich is vc 23109 (c) for exibition of speed i just wanted to know if you guys have an idea of how much is going to cost me. i live in california

sorry man, dont know. but just be hapy with whatever you get. if i was the cop, i would let you go and pop you for streetracing. if you look at it one way, he saved you from getting your car impounded and a huge fine.

and no, the cost isnt on the citation. i think he just has the slip from the cop. the actual cost will come when the paperwork from traffic court shows up.

Please post the ticket. Just tell the courts that your throttle plate got jammed and it wouldnt go anywhere you thought your car cut off on you so you floored it to keep the car on but didnt realize that the carstalled then as you floored it the throttle plate unjammed itself and the bald tires you have kept on spinning for a split second you didnt notice this becuase you had your radio up too loud with the windows up that and before you know it the cop was right behind you you told him what happened and he said he didnt care and that was it.

Yeah, I think in Cali only parking/fix it tickets have cost on them.

You should be able to check the cost of the ticket online....takes some time to get online though.

hellyeah its when they bring into court thats when they fuck you if its a bad judge get the vaseline ready all you made on your check and maybe on your next will go to that ticket. Be warey of your souroundings sounds just about right ya never know whos watchin.

only certain types of tickets come with the price. At least he didn't give you a street racing ticket... The lawyer for mine was $750 bucks. Do what h22sparkle says to do if you have time to go to court. For my speeding tickets all I did was go to my buddy's shop and had them write a recepit for the speedo being off. works every time.

FIGHT THE PISS OUT OF IT. cali cops are straight dicks and will nail you for the stupidest crap.

heres what I do.

fight the ticket by trial by declaration.. it should tell you how on the back of your ticket. but you basically fight the ticket through mail. and the ticketing officer isnt paid to fight it so its purely choice for him and without a cop to fight the ticket there is no fight... this works 40 percent of the time.

if that backfires you then have a choice to take it to court... go ahead and do it but call the court as late as you possibly can and reschedule
keep rescheduling that shit untill you cant anymore. that way when you finally do get to court. IF the officer shows up his memory is at best hazy, and thats only if he shows up.

this is what i do .I plea not guilty, send the ticket months after i get. it helps with the point violation within 18mons in NY.(3 speeding tickets within 18mons convicted, your licnese gets suspended,for at least 6mons,2nd time around its gets revoked ) if its the town i send it in, then i go to court,late. it says be there at 6pm i get there at 7-730 and the cop isnt there. it get dropped
