the information was for everyone, not just for you.

most people just ask for "liability" or "full coverage" without really going into detail about how much money the insurance company will pay out on their behalf should things/accidents/etc. arise. every insurance company's liability is not the same, nor is every insurance company's full coverage the same.

    for example:

rear end someone, they need to go to the hospital, suffer a broken arm. one insurance company may only cover the accident itself, thus leaving you exposed in a suit when the other party needs to recoup the medical costs incurred from the accident. another insurance company may cover both the accident and the associated medical costs. yet another insurance company may cover the accident, the associated medical costs, and still provide coverage should someone still attempt to sue you.

this sort of "example" occurs, yet many people are not prepared for it, and thus feel their insurance company did not cover them, when in fact they didn't have enough coverage.

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

I used to pay 280 per month, no breaks with progressive. Lowest options for everything (minimum coverage) I switched to geico and was paying 165 per month with 2 months off (out of 6) After I got in an accident and my insurance got jacked up I got pissed and switched. (I never should have done that, I am an idiot) Switched to allstate, god damn they are jerk-offs. I dislike them very much.

In the mean time I have nearly all minimum coverage.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Our insurance with geico, went down by $100 when we switched from having 3 drivers and 2 cars, to having 3 drivers and 3 cars.. I was like Doesn't insurance usually go up when you add cars? But I guess not.

insurance goes down when you add vehicles. reason why is beacuse you are not always driving that one car.

I just got a qoute on my truck...since its considered to be a utility vehicle, with full coverage it would be $2,542.00 a year and quite expensive for 423.67 a month and thats for New Hampshire alone.

I called my insurance agent last week and asked to speak to him... he was busy, so he had his assistant call me back. She got ahold of me today, and I talked her down. I'm now getting a significant reduction in homeowners AND auto insurance due to my status as a Rutgers alumnus. Plus, I dropped the DX. She said auto was 850/yr before the reduction (almost 100 less than last year) so that's a plus! I guess I don't need to call Geico. I was thinking about it today!

I pay 1800/yr for minimum coverage on my car. It sucks, but gotta do it. I think there is one accident and 1 ticket on my record.

My motorcycle with the same coverage is 236/yr.

bike is through progressive and car is through allstate
