Were you watching the game? The Seahawks are by far not John Madden's team and he was cursing the ref's. This was not an issue of anger from the loosing team side but an all out game that was called horribly wrong.

im not a fan of either team, but there were several terrible calls against seattle. but then again they screwed themselves plenty of times as well, like the end on the first half.

i like both teams but definitely was some bad calls in that game.refs can win or lose you a game.glad bettis won before he retired,but would have like to seen seattle win also oh well.go packers lol.

I wanted the steelers to win, so I'm happy Still, those calls were total BS. Pittsburgh was allowed a touchdown they didn't deserve, and Seattle was denied one that was legit. But whatever... At least I didn't have to watch my Eagles lose the bowl again this year!

thats all true ricky but have u ever seen a game where the refs saw every single penalty. even in basketball, if the refs called everything that went wrong, the game would be a day long and the only points scored would be foul shots. its not their faults, their human, they miss things and their job is probly pretty tough as it is. they dont need the extra stress from the people blaming them for their team sucking.

personally i think we won the super bowl more by beating the 1-3 seed AFC teams, we did awful offensivly the first half, but we came out with a new attitude afterwards and pulled out the win.

Last nights big celebration on the main street, was CRAZZZZY.everyone there for hours, and even in the snow

It's funny....If the table was turned, what would you be saying....and how much would we be agreeing?

i'll bet you any amount of money that the definition of the rules and the location of the ball in relation to the front of the endzone chalk that was NOT a td.....go look at the replays, they're perfect, if they'd have reviewed it, then they'd have overturned it.....they made a HUGE mistake, and how many 4th and goals have been stopped?

bottom line is that the refs were VERY unprofessional and just wrong on too many occasions.....did it change the game? yes, but i don't think they were pulling for the steelers, just not as good as advertised...remember, those guys are under pressure too and just like everyone else, they fail to perform too......they did last night......

but did the ball break the plane? no, it did not, it was 6" away and he was down a full second before reaching over.......when he dove it slipped down to his stomach.......in a tucked position it would have been close, but no, he didn't score....

Rule: an offensive player cannot push off of the defensive player to gain position. If you watch the replay, the push off was enough to make the defender take a step back. Call was correct.

Rule: the ball only needs to touch the white line to be ruled a touchdown. I don't care if it's only by a eyebrow hair. A eyebrow hair is enough. Call was correct and stood as ruled on the field. Touchdown.

To detest any other comments. Seahawks. - 2 missed field goals. It's indoors. No wind. Make them and its a different game. Get closer to the endzone and it's a different kick.

Bottme line- The Steelers won this game as a TEAM. If you asked me, the ENTIRE Steelers defense should have gotten MVP. Roethlisberger was timid at first. There were some bad throws and some dropped passes.......on both sides. If you asked me, Jeremy on the Seahawks better be eating his words and shaving that ridiculous beard.

People who don't think we deserved the super bowl just are lookign at the final game and not the process of how a team gets there.

-destroyed the #3 seed Bengals on their home turf. Steelers played their A game
-destroyed the #1 seed Colts on their home turf. Steelers played their A game
-destroyed the #2 seed Broncos on their home turf. Steelers played their A game
-beat the #1 seed Seahawks in Detroit. Steelers played their C game; Imagine if they played their "A" game.

Big Ben may not have had great numbers, but he got the job done. He's only in his second year and had the presence not to cross the LOS on the long pass to ward on 3rd and long, or had the talent to elude the rush and complete that shovel pass for a first down.

how quickly everyone forgets how bad the calls were vs. Indy BUT the Steelers still played well enough to beat (at that time) the NFL's BEST TEAM hands down.

If your a seahawks fan, im sorry you lost, but there is always next year. In the NFC, anyone can make the super bowl
