got rolled for turning on a yellow light. got cited for not having my insurance card on my...(i have no insurance). also for not having a rear view mirror, and having an open container..miller lite, it was empty. my question, if i get insurance before court, will i still get busted for it? and whats a good excuse for the open container, i'm just gonna say i was takin back cans and it fell out. and i'll just buy a new rear view mirror.

heres what u do, follow traffic laws, dont drive without insurance, get a rear view, dont put beer anywhere near ur car, pay the ticket, stop posting all the (as ricky said) d-d-d-d-drama!!!!!

Let me add this to my previous statement.
for not having a rear view mirror, check the laws, I believe you are only required to have 2. either sides, or a center and a side.
the beer, you're screwed on that.
no insurance, again check the laws, but I beleive you have to show that you had insurance when the incident happened and just didn't have the card with you.
turning on a yellow light is BS and was just an excuse to pull you over. unless you were turning left, if you were turning left, then you are in the wrong.Comment

the only reason right turns on red are allowed is because you are never crossing an opposing lane of traffic, you are going in the same direction as all traffic in the lanes you enter into and exit from.
if you turned left from a one way street, onto a one way street, then there should be no problem unless the light turned red like right as you crossed the line into the intersection and the cop thought you ran the red.Comment

hey i got a ticket too for running a yellow light or excuse me my story goes that the cop heard my exhaust and assumed i did not make the light when in fact i did and the funny thing was is that there was a car behind me when i did this crime yet i was the one pulled over. And the reason i know i was safe was because he sat in the parking lot and clearly stated he heard my exhaust....I was kinda upset ticket cost me 183.50 oh well they r doing their job i guess i am thinking about takin to court but i need evidence
