could be real. seems like a scam, but might not be. seriously though, who would go out of their way to have you ship you car to them and pay for everything else when im sure there are hundreds of cars just like it for sale where he lives.

I don't think it's a scam. If he sends the money, make sure it's IN your account before you do ANYTHING.

My only concern is why is HE sending YOU the money for the shipper? Why is it up to you to pay them? He's paying for shipping, and he's making the arangements... why do you have to be involved there?

theres this guy that comes to the dealership i work at, some dude gives him the money n he picks the car up, he has all types of cars from all types of states on the truck already
tell him u want all the money in ur hand before it is shipped, if he gives u a check or m/o, cash it first, then give him the car

Here's my advice: If you have to ask if its a scam, theres a pretty big chance that it is. I personally do not believe that its worth the risk dealing with this guy.

I like Deev's idea of having him pay for the shipping/wire them the money. Why should i pay them if he is the one making the arrangements. If i get the money in full in my Account before the shipping, then imma go forward with it.

He says something about sending YOU the money for shipping though... something about that doesn't sit right with me. You should never have to handle the shipping money. There's no point in it. It's not like when you buy a set of corner lights and you send the guy an extra $7 for the FedEx charges... Arranging shipment for a car should be done by the buyer!

i would say cash or cashiers check. cashiers checks are guaranteed by the bank, and i dont think you can cancel them.
