I miss my cb story...

I have to say fellas that i really do miss my cb7. It has a very good new home and has lots of mods now and i talk to the owner regularly and even go on trips to pick up parts for it . Well that is long gone and no longer mine. When i blew up the tranny i thought i wanted something new. I could afford the payment no problem w/ extra money. Well I have come to a point where I want a cb7 plain and simple. It will be a full project car for me to build and enjoy. The V6 i have now will either be sold or given to my brother. I am now very willing to get rid of my new car for a cb7. Why?? well to me there is a deeper reason but if i get rid of the new car and fix the cb i will be able to get out and just get a place to my self. This stuff is very hard for me and I guess i am being cheap with the money i want to spend on it cause I am going to change everything over. I think I am just going to get 1 or 2 and mod them. I feel that i am too much of a "tuner". Like i can't stop modding the car. I had so many plans for the V6 but finding out that well being a newer car it is a bit harder to mod 1 is because of the ULEV tag i now sport. I have no room for excessive smog here in CA. This shit sucks cause i even fit better in the cb7 then the V6. I am 6'4" and it is actually very hard to fit into the new coupe but w/ the old sedan/coupe i fit way easier.

I just think if i have a cb7 i would be happier and able to tune it.

I really think i would have 3 cb7 rather then a way new car. That is just me.

I really miss my car i do. I never thought i would get rid of it i really did not but I guess i just wanted a new car at that time.

I can afford both cars but i want to mod the cb and like hell. Plus i would prob never drive the V6 if i got the cb. Damn it I want one now. I may go crazy and just buy one this weekend or next week.

I found a few local that are stock that i could build the way I want. It is just hard for me to save money lol. I have some actually now but need a bit more to get it. Then i just need to sell the V6 soon so the modding can begin.

Damn I feel ya prime, for real for real...my parents are both like 'dood ya need a new whip', and I do...but I've bonded so much with the CB I can't see myself getting rid of it, like, ever. So I'm just gonna wait until I can afford another car and basically get anything the ladies like, as that's the only time I would drive the other whip.

Seriously, other than the FWD thing, the CB is such a great car...it's the perfect size exterior wise and interior wise, it has excellent visibility, there are a lot of mods available, as well as junked CBs, and it keeps on ticking...no weird head gasket problems or anything like that; the truck motor we have just keeps on truckin. The stock suspension is awesome; I've got the tail to kick out on occasion when I was stock...uh...the shifter/clutch are the best in the business, even after 13-16 years of use...they're good on gas...the stock F22 sounds like a beast with just an intake...so many great things about this car. Change the bushings/UCAs and maybe swap the engine every 300k miles and I wouldn't doubt that these cars could run forever...

That is the plan and it is lined up too. I get the cb7 ASAP and get rid of the V6 ASAP. Time for the H22 in feb and way more to come dude. I hope to have the majority of it done by may
