yeah that's right, christmas over at my uncle's house, he's got two new toys sitting in his garage, 2006 Honda K12x's Jetski's, Boasting a 4 cylinder DOHC IVTEC Turbo's, I didn't get to get a close up on the turbo's but the engines are sitting at 165 Horse, annoying when Honda Jet Ski's come stock with more horsey's than our cb7's did! Ima be the first person to swap a jetski engine into my cb LOL

There was also a turbo V6 in the 1st gen Legend...2.0L, 190HP/165lb*ft. Also, there was the turbo 1.3L in the old City; I think that made 100HP or so. Oddly enough now that I think about it, the Legend and the City probably shared heads. Go figure... In any case all-motor power>>>>>>turbo power IMO.

oh suck it up, mine has 215 and can kick the crap out of those stupid honda jetskis. as much as i like honda, they cant make a jetski to save their life. its not a turbo either. they say it is and it looks like it but its a supercharger. turbos on a jetski would be just a little tough cause the exhaust mani dumps into the water. it doesnt work unless u want the turbo sucking up water and dumping it into ur engine.

the turbo would be on the exhaust manifold right?

the exhaust manifold is under water for the most part

so where does the turbo go? in the water? half in half out? its not the same as a car

i just checked and they dont even make a K12x

they make the F12x and R12x

and i dont see anything about IVTEC either

Dude I flipped a Jetski (Waverunner or whatever) before...don't ask how ...but anyways yea them things are fast, dangerous, and hurts like hell when you have a lil disaster like I did.

I couldn't walk for over a week. It sucked.

put an aftermarket blow off valve... then you'll own the waters.

don't listen to him...what you need is Altezzas, Stickers (+5 whp), and a BIG ASS WING to reduce drag on the waves!
