Ever-Decreasing Post Count

I'm most certainly not a spammer but what's up with my ever-decreasing post count? At one point I had like 105 posts, then it dropped to like 100, then to like 98, then I'd make a couple posts here and there. Back up to like 103, now it's like 99. Is there something I'm missing?

Yeah, I figured posts didn't count in the Off Topic board, as most sites' off topic boards don't count posts, but I meant when I post in boards like Members' Rides, Technical, etc. If it's simply from threads being deleted then the moderators must be busy, busy, busy deleted threads because the posts go fast. lol. I guess it's just obvious to me because my count jumps from three digits to two.

Yeah, a lot has been deleted. If you post anything in one of SteveB's threads, you'll find that he deletes them all as time goes on. I talked about writing a book (still am... very slowly) and he got spooked and now gets rid of all his supersecret info so I don't steal it! That's what he said once, anyway... not sure if it's the only reason!

Ricky just deleted the 1/4 Mile Time thread in the Racing section, if you've made any posts in there. Not sure what his reasons were, but it was quite cluttered in there anyway.

Don't worry about your count. Just be cool with people on here, and be helpful and respectful... It won't matter how many posts you have, you'll get that respect back!

Oh, I'm not worried about getting respect from my post count. lol. I've been around online forums for several years and know I don't need post counts to get respect. :P A lot of times, the "coolest" folks are those guys that are said to be "a man of few words." But nah, I don't believe I recall any threads by a SteveB and I'm not sure if I've ever posted in the racing section. Oh, well. Thanks.

Members delete their posts all the time... Or the mods do, if they get out of hand!

We have a number of new mods lately, and they're hard at work trying to bring some organization to the forums they've been assigned to... there may be some deleting going on there as well. No big deal!
