Need Advice

To make a long story short, I loaned my friend 140 dollars. (I cant say for what). He said he would have it back by the end of the day or the next day. This is one of my best friends. Well all the money is gone and he keeps avoiding me.

I only did this to be a nice fucking human being and help my friend out, but i got fucked. Now i have car keys in my hand, and a loaded 7mm magnum hunting rifle by my side. im having a terrible fucking day and this little fucking weasel that claims to be a a human but is a piece of fucking scum made it a lot fucking worse.

half of me wants to call him and say he has 1 more day before i do anything, and the other half wants me to go get in my car and get money from the fuck. i dont care how he gets it but if he knows whats good for him hell get it.

You might say this is only 140 dollars its not worth it. But when you work hard for your money and go out of the way for someone that you didnt have to and they fuck you over and dont even giev a shit. its more than 140 dollars.

i dont know what to do, this is the only place where i can talk about this shit, everyone else is just fucking stupid and their opinions dont matter to me.

Your a nice friend i wouldnt load shit...however a good friend like you are...call his dumb ass and say hey...i loaned it to you not gave it....you need to give it ASAP when is your next check i will expect it the next time you get paid otherwise you die...lol

hey that sucks, i feel you but don't do anything, continue on w/ your business an cut this dude out from ya life kid...when i loan ppl $ (which is rare) this is my logic behind it:

1) i loan you 140$ an you return it in resonable timeframe b/c of whatever circumstances then that person is a trustworthy individual worthy of my friendship

2) i loan you $ and you duck and dodge me w/o reason and w/o paying me back then i've spent $140 to cut a worthless person out of my life. Better to have spent it that way then later on down the road of life have this person do something real fucked up or take you for a bigger sum of money...

ease up an walk away, if he's a man he'll get you your money back, if not then let him keep avoiding you, you don't need people like that in your life kid

Yea i feel you man my ex room mate still owes me 700 and still havent seen a penny. Yes it pisses me off since its been a while he says he would give me money first week of december and what......nothing. If you know where the dude lives just go up to him and confront him with it and give it a time frame.

My friend's girlfriend came crying to me a few years ago because he told her he couldn't afford to take her out on Valentine's Day (she cried to me ON that day...) So, being the good friend I am, I found him at work at about 4pm and handed him $100 so he could take her out. He then handed me $20 (given to him by her grandfather) and asked me to go get some flowers for her... I did (got made fun of at the flower shop too... they thought I was the lazy bum... my girl was already taken care of!)

So, I told him I wanted it back as soon as he could. I had the money, and I knew he was pretty broke. Later that week, I drove him to the music store to buy some new equipment ($100 worth)... I STILL didn't bitch. He was in my band and said it was needed stuff, which it was.


This was all in 2002. I've gotten $50 in small $5 and $10 payments over the last 4 years. He still acknowledges the debt, but I doubt I'll ever see it.

I thought about it... Is $50 worth losing a friend? I like this guy, and I know he's a screwup with money. I just let it go. I still mention it from time to time, but it's not going to ruin our friendship. I'll just never lend him money again!


Oh yeah, a year later I told his girl what I did, and how he failed to come through. Then I called him and told him she now knows... he took it like a man, and admitted he deserves the hell that was about to be unleashed They're engaged now (and I take credit for saving that relationship )

I don't want to be friends with someone i cant trust with money, why? becase i cant have him around ANYTHING valuable of mine. fuck that. to me its worth losing a friend over, its a warning signal saying that hes a fuck up, stay away from him, or kill him, or beat some sense into the fuck. i wouldnt be suprised if he was the one that jacked my stereo and amp. he knew how i installed the shit. he knew how much i paid for it. a pair of keys was *lost* before the car got broken into.

i was in the same situation about 11 monthes ago, i brought a knife to school to get my money back from a kid, and i got busted. i got kicked out of school and put in juvenal detention. ill have that on my record for the rest of my life...listen to me and dont do anything stupid...esspecially with that rifle

Rule of thumb, never lend money if you can't afford to lose it. Apparently he is not your friend if he's not willing to pay you back. Its a lesson learn. You F*** up or something, you'll end up losing more than $140.

why dont you go and talk to his mom or dad about it, $140.00 is not worth going to jail over, so think about what you want to do, just look at it this way the money is gone, but atleast you found out what type of friend he was before something more valuable was taken

Well, all i can say is, let it go. You lost $150. But that's not much. He lost a friend. Which is a major loss in him.
