Craftsman is a fine brand... nothing to be ashamed of. Almost all of my tools are craftsman except for petty things that the price was so much different, I could replace it 4 times before I got to the price of craftsman...
But for what equipment you have... it's a good brand for the weekend warrior... and even some full-time mechanics.
craftsman rules, btw. Might be more pricey, but the quality is worth it.
Craftsman tools are not pricey. Take a look at snap-on and mac tools and they are the cheap ones. They are still of good quality though, most of mine are craftsman and i use em 5 days a week.
