    last night = worst night evarr

    Well i had to work the 5-10:30 shift last night,it was expected we'd get a snow storm around 9. It started around 8ish, and by 9 we had atleast 2-3inches, so they let all the employees go to get a early start. Well my rear tires are brand new almost, and my fronts i was just about to replace because they are pretty worn down and awful in the snow.
    So i get out of the parking lot, its snowing like crazy, i get on the main road (4 lane highway) and my wheels start spinning just going 20mph, so i pull off the road and think about waiting until it dies down and plows come.
    So i wait for about 45minutes, seeing the snow just pick up in pace, so i decide to give it another try. I get about a mile down the road, and up comes a huge hill, i get about half way up, lose momentum, and get stuck, so i cut the wheel, and end up in a vacent small parking lot. There was no way i'd make it home with with my tires and how much snow was on the ground, so i walked to the gas station, tried to call taxi's, none of them picked up their phones. My next idea was to take a bus, but they were shut down.
    So... I'm about 30 minutes away from home, and i dont know anyone out here so i couldn't call anyone, then one of my friends over the phone suggested i call the cops and explain im stranded with no where to go. So i call the cops, 3 hours after getting stuck, and they said they couldn't help me
    So basicly i was hung out at the little gas station from 10-3:30am when the snow finally stopped and i dug my way out of the lot and drove home 20mph and got home around 4am.
    Quite the evening *invest in snow tires*
    Some lady gave me 20 bucks at the gas station to get a cab, I felt really bad about that, told her i didn't need it, but she gave it anyways

    cliff notes;
    got stranded 30minutes away from apartment in vacent parking lot, taxis,buses were both closed down. Spent 5 hours in a gas station.

      yeah I was expecting to hear that another cb went to car heaven. Thanks goodness nothing bad happened. Where I live we never have to deal with snow. However I have driven in snow a few times and I hate it. But ice is worse!!!

          Glad you made it home eventually, I wish we had just a little bit of your cold though.. was sweating today. but, that sounds like my trip up to michigan once...

          Started off with brand new tires, driving up to MI. Hit something in the road at 90mph...didnt think anything of it somewhere around ATL.

          2-2.5hours later, Car started to feel weird, so I pulled off at a rest stop, and had a look. It knocked my front tires about 2-3 degrees of toe, new tires were shredded on the inside (stock height) I was at the rest area in North GA at 11:30pm Friday night. Tire place 5 miles up the highway didnt open until 8am the next morning, so I spent the night at the rest stop, it really sucked. But had it been snowing aswell... that would have REALLY sucked.
