Im sooooo Fuckin pissed, but happy as the same time...

well guys, my car got broken into at my friends shop. we were all there but around the corner. i had only been there for about 20min, and a customer walks up and says, there's a couple cars out back with their doors open. we go out back, mine as well as a friends car, who happens to be an owner of the shop, had gotten jacked. they took his deck, amp and type-r sub w/custom wheelwell enclosure. on my car they took my mp3 deck and that was it. they popped my trunk, but didnt take anything... including my type-s pistons that were there. and since i had so much junk they couldnt pull my sub out.

my car had been pushed about 30ft back away from its original spot and they beat the shit out of the steering column, and fucked up the ignition. the ignition was stuck on and i couldnt even get the key in to turn it off. im assuming for all the work they went through, they were trying to take my car. unfortunetly for them, i have a "safety" feature in my car, and they couldnt get it started.

dumbasses didnt even take the vafc... they were set on one thing, and since they couldnt get the car quickly, they bounced. so now i gotta get a new ignition and deck.

im pissed, but at the same time i feel blessed or lucky, whatever you wanna call it. all they got was the deck, and since i only have liability... if they got my car i would have been screwed hard. thats basically whats keeping me calm right now, knowing that it could have been alot worse.


all they fucked up was the column, ill take a pic their work later.

Damn, that sucks to hear. Too bad you guys wouldnt have caught them. But that is good that they didnt get the whole car, ignition and mp3 player aint sheet compared to a new car.

thats what happened to my ignition...like it is stuck in II and you can turn it on with any key?

i just put the original key and pressed hard and went to I, works fine now.

unfortunetly i only have liability as well... no theft coverage though. i found my old ignition taht i never used, so i replaced that for free. i only needed to spend $15 on a new clamshell for the steeringcoloumn. and my gf is going to buy me a new cd player.

guess ill need to invest in a new kind of security, they got too close that time.

sorry to hear that man. I kind of know how you feel. Like I've said before many times on this forum, I had my shit broken into. They also took my deck and CDs, plus wanted to steal it too because I saw finger prints in the dust on top of the steering column.

Good thing they didnt take the cb bro thankgod. They probably wherent tuner thieves if so they would have taken it . They must have been rice thieves. My monstertach got taken one time and they didnt take my vafc after they busted my window and ontop of that it was tinted so i know how you feel. Count your blessings bro next time shop of or not lock your shit up no matter whos there or where your at form now on. Some people say im paranoid im not im just cautious fuck what everyone else says I value my shit.

well im not so much upgrading my deck, just getting a different one. i was looking into a mp3/dvd player w/7" monitor... but im not ready to spend $1200+ for a good one. so i ended up getting this



all the same features of my previous panasonic deck, just a different look.


and fuck an alarm. im gonna have another hidden switch installed. this time one for a fuel cutoff.
