"Laugh and cry" or "F'n cry"?

You know what I'm talking about

In the opening song to the Family Guy, what does Stewie say? I swear, in seasons 1 and 2, it was "F'n cry"... then in season 3 it changed noticably to "laugh and cry". Now it's "F'n cry" again for the new ones.

My girl thinks I'm nuts. My best friend thinks I'm nuts. I've downloaded season 2 and season 3 episodes for comparison, and it is SO obvious to me! They don't hear it.

Supposedly Seth McFarlane made a statement saying that it was always "laugh and cry"... but I still think that's bull.

Anyone else hear what I hear?

Seth MacFarlane mentioned it when he was on Loveline. if memory serves, he said it has always been "laugh and cry", but alot of people were hearing "f'n cry", so they re-recorded it so it was clearly "laugh and cry". they seem to have gone back to the original recording since then.

it was one of these two episodes...

                Laugh and Cry

Seth MacFarlane even mentions it on the commentary in the DVD set. (Yes I am a dork who watches all of the extras)

I still wonder if the statement was to quell the fury of those who are offended by the F'n cry. I swear, it really sounds like it

This is not the first time someone mentioned this. For the record tho...Its Laugh and Cry...due to the accent, its sounds like F'n Cry. (deev you are right, it sounds lot like it...maybe MacFarlane is lying about it )

it sounds like f'n cry, but i saw the frank sinatra jr. episode last night where he sang the ending credits and he very clearly said "laugh and cry"
