Next project car-what would you like to build

Hey guys, just wanted to know, if you could pick something up for real cheap, what would you buy.Something i can just swap the motor out and do some bolt ons and just be failry quick.Something that is already light but can be even lighter if i gut it out.I was thinking crx w/ a b18c1 (gsr) motor.But i need costum mount so fuck that.EG's are expensive for no reason.It doesnt even have to be a honda.Just wanted to know what you guys would buy if you wanted a project car that you can fix up on weekends and just race with it.

A 95-99 Maxima with a 3.5L engine (hopefully the 350Z one. The trannys are all the same). Insta-13 second car, all-motor hoes...with a silver paint job and a BMW red leather interior, the RAYS 18's from the 350Z, the Tokico springs/shocks and a sick non-subbed system. Pretty doable for ~$12K I think and fucking sick on all fronts...

If not that then I dunno, I'm not really into any other cars. Maybe a K20 EG sedan.

I was thinking integra DA, ls/vtec...o the possibilities.

DSM is mitsubishi's,and dodges.(Daimler Star Motors)



***Deev edit: DSM is "Diamond Star Motors" Chrysler is the Star, and Mistubishi is the Diamond. Daimler wasn't in the picture till recently. The good motors were Mitsu, and the low end were Chrysler (I believe the low-end DSM motors were also in the Neon). Either they collaborated on the chassis, or it was all Chrysler. I forget. The cool thing is that JDMland didn't get the DSMs Page 3 is too far away to comment on this, so I'm sticking it in here... no disrespect intended

That car is fucking light as hell and the motor makes torque like a motherfuck. With I/H/E, UDP, plugs wires, ignition, flash tune, cams and cam gears it will own your h22a accords :P

Oh and my DSM was sold to a lady in Alaska for monetary reasons when I turn 18 (insurance = a bitch)
