    Supersets.......N E 1?

    Since a lot of lifting threads have been poping up just wanted to know if any of the lifters here do them or try them?

    if not........give it a shot on your next workout and tell us what u think....

    i do them for tris....
    i hit:
    skullcrushers......right into.........close grip.......right nto.......dips
    10-15 reps

    yes its a killa, but if u r a lifter...thats what u want..lol

      how long do you wait inbetween the group?

        say like normally u do..... bench press....then rest for whatever time, then bench again.

        supersets are like..........

        bench press 10reps.........right into.......incline press 10 reps.........right into cable crossovers 10reps.......then rest.

        so its like 8-10 reps for each exercise then break (1 set) the do it again which would be another set.


        its doing 2-4 different exercises, 6-10 or whatever reps back to back with no break inbetween, which will then equal 1 set.

              yeah because its more intense...
              u'll see when u give it a shot... first words that might come out your mouth after completing a set are..... got damn....lol
              i got one guy here at work (i dont know him) doing the super set routine for tri's....lol. he seen me doing them one day, then like a week later i came in there, he happen to be there the same time. im looking around and seeing whos in there for the day and notice him eye balling me, then he just dropped and start doing the routine i was doing, made me laugh. i've cought 3 people doing it that i see in there ALL the time and never doing, guess they said shit.... it looks like its working for him so im a give it a shot, lol.

                Supersets are a must!!! I usually cycle when I do them, but I love doing them for bi's the most... especially incline db curl & ez bar curl. Never really tried them for tri's before... my tri's grow fast regardless just from close grip and weighted dips. But definitely good stuff.

                How about 21's for bi's or 20 set ass-to-grass squats? Now those are fun to put in every once in awhile.

                  i tell u another killer.....

                  decline bench press right into weighted dips (with a 35-45 pound weight attached to u)
                  or another one, DB press into incline, then cable. your tiddies a feel like they bout to pop..lol

                    damn, yeah rotary cuff issues are a b.
                    i tore mines in May this year, still was hitting the gym. didnt find out until my mother was at the hospitol for surgery so i said let me go get my shoulder checked.
                    doctor said tore shoulder muscle
                    made me wear a slang for 3 days and gave big ass needle filled with some pain killer, shit hurt like crazy (not the needle but the pain killer). have u ever been punch in the arm REAL hard, and the throbbing pain u fell after it, thats how it felt....for 3 hours.
                    tore it when i was trying to adjust myself while i was benching, already had the bar/weight in the air (dumb thing to do).

                      Like that one guy said, I do these for bi's and sometimes tri's, I don't think I have the stamina to do this for the bigger muscle groups. That or I would be doing mad low weights.
                      And I definately don't eat right or enough. And my metabolism is crazy fast. When I get rich I'm hiring a personal chef first, then a trainer.

                          you aint kiddin.. 21's are effing redicuolous haha... but they usually make for a good workout ender... kinda like a burnout...
