Civic Si SEDAN due in 2006?

Temple of VTEC says so, but then again, they say a lot things... That 6th gen Prelude should be along any day now.

Si Sedan sounds neat! I think it could sell a bunch of those, and the engineering costs to add a 4 door model with the Si goodies were probably negligable. I hope they sell it.

That article says Motor Trend said '07; it wasn't clear why they thought it would be '06 instead.

But stranger things have happened. Like a 6-sp V6 Accord sedan in '06.

Or it could be that they think they can steal a little thunder from the Audi's A3 (wagon). VW also briefly flirted with this idea when they had the 1.8Turbo in the 4-dr Golf a few years back. Sort of a 4-dr GTI but without the nice seats, leather availability, nicer steering wheel etc. I briefly owned an '01 5-sp and it was very nice but didn't have enough suspension as stock.
