Anyone have a good home gym to recommend? I haven't really looked yet, but the only two I know about are the Bowflex and the CrossBow.

My friend who started with Bowflex and now does free weights (after maxing the bow). He is JACKED. I mean the kid was a skinny ass pencil fruitcake that was always fucked with. 3 Years later after only the Bowflex he is jacked like a Gorilla on 'Roids.
I really do believe the Bowflex hype. I think its a great way to start...and when you max it out, move onto freeweights.
Any more oppinions would be great....what do you guys think of the "crossbar"??? I am leaning towards this product

I don't have any sort of crazy workout contraption that you look like a dweeb trying to work out, but working out at the gym at my complex keeps me going plenty well once or twice a week.Former: 90 Accord EX Coupe, 93 10th Anniversary in Frost White

2001 Mazda B3000 SE 4x4 extended cab [stock except for CB radio]
2008 Ford Escape XLT [bone stock]
2015 Toyota Prius Three with solar roof [rear diffuser, Vision Cross wheels... cheaper than steelies!]

I know the machines at the Gym rather well, and tell you the truth IMO, these "wacky" machines are actually the SAME EXACT FUCKING THING as the crazy contraptions at the Gym.
If you look like a dweeb on a Bowflex, you will look like a dweeb at the Gym.
PS...im not looking for a "magic 3 minute a week suber-buff workout guarantee" machine. Im looking for a HOME GYM. I'm not looking to become Arnord in 60 days with no work. I have been a part of a gym before, I'm looking for a good all around gym to use at home.
Most pro-athletes have Gyms at their homes, are they dorks too???Last edited by 92accordlxtuner; 11-16-2005, 09:40 PM.
