It's tru that it is false.... first sentence says the second one is false, but the secone one can't be tru because the first one, which makes it false.
Btw, you were the guy that complained bout my sig a while ago?
regardless, being a philosophy nerd, ive come upon this before. its a logical paradox, a circular definition, or a self referential statement, however you like to phrase it.
being in that it is such, i think it falls outside of the realm of sentences that have truth values.
but, what do i know.
nothing.
can one know nothing?
is zero really a number?
do numbers really exist?
--> a
what is that arrow pointing at?
philosophy is a road that most of us arent prepared to go down, and for those of us that have, we often times wish we hadnt.

If I am looking at this right, then neither are true. If the second sentence is false but makes reference of the first sentence being true, both are false. I may be wrong.
congratulations youve managed to put my brains into hemerage are you familiar with digital hemorag? LOL where you creat for example a c++ loop with no end line LOL you bug out the brain!!

ha, well, it makes some sense to me, but even what i said isnt completely accepted in the phi community, as there are multiple potential answers to the problem. all of this falls under the assumption that every sentence has a truth value, that is that every sentence is either false or true. However, some more recent systems of logic and more recent logic theory says that not all sentences have truth values, i.e.
"this sentence is false." its just a nonsense statement that seems odd because the structure of our language allows such things to be constructed.
also paradoxes such as
"god can do anything, (this is from the simpsons btw)
so, can he microwave a burrito so hot that he cant eat it?"
wouldn't have a real truth value. because if you say he can(that its true) then there becomes something that he cant do(eat the burrito). if you say its false, then you also say that there is something that he cant do as well, that is that he cant microwave the burrito to where he cant eat it.
but the assumption is that god can do anything.
so yeah, im a nerd, and if it werent for the army, i would have a hard time getting a job.
the irony of someone trained to think(phi) in a place that doesnt encourage thinking(the army).
go me and my own logical contradictions.
