1993 4DR EX ?What would you pay?

I'm going through what is called buyers remorse and I need a little pumping up.

    The car...
1993 Honda Accord EX 4DR Automatic transmission
    black with ivory interior
    69,000 all original miles
    southern car NO RUST
    All original equipment...zero mods
It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.

Wow!, 2 or 3. Book is almost 6g. I paid 5. An old couple were trading in a burgundy 93 LX with 64,000 miles when my wife bought her 05 Accord. The dealership put $4995 on it and sold it in less than 1 hour, full price.

You mean you bought it? At any rate I'm not surprised it went for $5K, that car will have many many good years to go, much more than some tiny POS $12,000 new car would.

My local dealer last year sold a 92 LX sedan for about that much (maybe more) --- it had 44,xxx miles! About a month ago they sold a '97 EX sedan with 69,xxx for probably $7K.

And yes, I regularly cruise their lot!

That car is definitely worth it. I don't get where everyone gets their great deal low mileage mint cars for 2500.

I've been looking for a CB for my mom for 3 months now, and I can't find a rust free EX for under 3500...at least one in the color she wants (white or black).

Well a friend of mine from grade school (Ccrazymike). Just picked his up for 200 bucks from his boss.

                  No rust whatsoever.

5 grand actually sounds really cheap for a CB7 with only 69xxx miles on it... you got a deal

I paid 3k for a low mileage cb7, too bad it was auto and too bad a stupid NY driver t-boned me.

But oh well, maybe I will get another low mileage cb7, for now I'm driving a cb7 that I paid $1600 for, 165k, leather, LX. And I've spent over 2k in maintenance on, but that is how the cheaper always comes out expensive.
'93 Bordeaux Red Pearl LX 5MT

                      Prev CBs:
                      -'93 BRP LX 4AT
                      -'92 AGP LX 5MT
                      -'93 AGP EX 4AT
10yrs after my first cb, I'm still driving one!

I got mine 3 years ago for free... . They really should have paid me to take it tho... It was definitely (no pun intended) a busted LX.
